"A second king?" Doti shivered and strolled up to Salvatore, her ears pinned back against her neck. "Is this wise? You are a great leader, Salvatore, do we need another?"
She already knew what his answer would be and shook her head prematurely. Tsaru could have gotten to it, but he already knew that an outsider with no background and no purpose wouldn't make it even to face Salvatore. She sighed, her fantasies surviving always in the back of her mind. She sat by Ami and looked at Kiara, waiting for her to take her seat as well.
Tsaru, always lurking, always waiting, saw the pride gathering. His paranoia told him that perhaps they found out about him. Doti must have said something, and now they were going to find him and kill him. But, no, it couldn't have been that.

Ami felt her stomach lurch. Nuru had really done it this time. As Nuru tried to follow Salavatore to the fight area his mother stepped infront of his path and stared at him. "Don't do this Nuru. I know you have your hopes set high at being something in this pride but you're too young and inexperinced.", Stepping closer a more pleading note came into her voice, "Back down while you still can." Nuru growled angrily, "No. I'm full grown so I can make my own choices. You don't have the right to tell me what to do anymore. You left me for months on my own. Do you know what it feels like to be abandoned? I'm carving out my own life and it doesn't involve you. I don't care if the chances seem small of me winning I have a chance." Walking around her he headed towards Salvatore his heart beating as fast as a lizard.

Kiara watched nuru with a worried gaze "be careful.." She walks over to ami and doti and sat down with a sigh.

Salvatore forced a smile. "I can't turn down the challenge, Doti. Nuru want's the rank, I can't really turn him down on the offer," He grimaced.

Nuru slowly walked towards Salvatore waiting for him to make the first move. his ears were drawn back and he was growling slightly.

Salvatore waited patiently, his tense frame stilled from his manner. He kept a calm expression along his cranium and stance, appearing less brutal.
