Salvatore flashed his eyes at the lioness. "Ami!" He boomed with happiness. He rushed forth, nuzzling said lioness. "I thought you were gone,"

"Just wondering what the world looks like beyond the pridelands I guess." She gave up a half smile and looked at Kiara, hoping she herself knew what she meant. At least one lioness to understand what she meant. She only seemed to feel this way after meeting with Tsaru and she began to have a creeping feeling that this wasn't going to end so well. Perhaps she was making a big mistake, perhaps she should stop seeing him...She had to confess something. As they walked, Doti turned her head and looked back at the pride. Seeing her king and the rest of her family out of hearing range, she stopped.
"Kiara, i've met someone new and i'm not exactly sure if i'm doing the right thing about it. Can you keep a secret?"

Ami genuily smiled. It had been a while since she had seen a friendly face. She had left Nuru many moons ago because she was hoping he would have a better life. She never felt she could take care of that small cub that had so much potentiol in life. She had come back to be in a pride. She had joined a few other ones but the lionesses didn't like her. True, Ami is a good hunter when she wants to be but her attitude to other females is rather rude. It's probably caused by jealousy. Looking at Salvatore brought back old memories of what it was like to be in a pride. "Hello Salavatore. It's been a while." She rubbed her head against his as a greeting. "Nuru has gotten so big... You've taken good care of him, I hope?"

"I met king to be, Kiara, and he's amazing. I mean Salvatore is great too, but this lion is unlike any i've ever met. I don't know...There's something wrong with me. He wants me to run off with him, and it seems as though he won't leave until I leave with him. But I can't. I can't leave my family behind. You are all too good to me." She laughed nervously, "But it's crazy because I keep thinking about myself as a queen somewhere far off with my little nobles running at my feet and my sisters revering me...."
Oh, god, Doti, you've lost yourself... She shook her head and smiled a genuine smile this time, "It's nothing really. It's okay. I'm not going anywhere, he's crazy. Leaving you guys behind to follow some bachelor across the desert? It's a wild dream!

"But do you love him?" Kiara said. "If you love him then you already know the answer." She turned while talking and sniffed a Bush for any prey scent. She turned her head to face doti again. "Don't do something if you don't actually want to, follow your heart. The answer will come to you."

Doti smiled and turned her head away, turning her eyes to gaze into the distance where she last saw Tsaru.
"I wouldn't say love..." She looked back at Kiara with a cub-like glimmer in her eyes, "But I really really really like him."
