Nuru, 17 moons old, male, thoughtful/intelligent/ambitious. Nuru is getting close to being full grown. Most males leave the pride at 24-36 moons of age. He really doesn't like Salvatore simply because he's an older male. Nuru doesn't like people who are better then him and is easily made envious. Nuru's mother, Ami, left him with the pride at a young age and later dissapeared for reasons unknown, but Nuru has always believed she will come back to him.

Nuru stalked stealthily through the grass towards the sleeping female. His pawsteps were silent and not a single sound emitted from his body. He was close now. His muscles were tensed and he was ready to spring. "1...2...", he counted along with her snores, "...3." He sprang from the long grass that matched his pelt perfectly. He landed right on his target, the sleeping prey known as Kirara.
