Penny shakes her head "I'm not leaving you!" She turns to where the twig snaps and prepares to fight, a growl rising in her throat.

3 catahoula leopard dogs walk out from the bushes. The black grey and white one steps forward. "Give us the she-dog." He says. Asher stiffens.

Penny growls at the three strangers. "Why on earth would I come with you!" She snarls.

The white one with brown spots started jumping. "Because, because, because, we want you to! It's our mi-" He was cut off by the leader. "Shut up, Snow!", he said wacking him with his paw, "This is no time to get all jittery." Turning back to Asher and Penny he growled, "I guess we'll have to take her by force, Asher." The leader glared at him. Asher looked down saying, "Penny, I'm so sorry..."

Jaze snorted. "Shut up, annoying little thing." He snapped his jowls at the puppy-looking dog, and turned his attention back to the trapped Shepherd underground. "Come out, come out, wherever you are! You can run- whoops! Can't run can you!" He spat at Ambal through the opening of the cave.

He sniffed the hole and grinned at the trapped stray, his teeth glistening in the (moonlight?).

Asher stands infront of Penny his lips curling back not replying to her. "You have to get through me first..." The leader blinked but didn't looked surprised "Well, well. You're a traitor are you? I guess I'm not shocked. You always were soft... Sleet! Snow!", he stepped back,"Take him down." Sleet ran forward and dove for Ashers throat but Asher stepped back and got bit on the shoulder not being quick enough. Asher barked feirociously and tried to grab him but Snow dove in and started jumping around him distractively. Snow after a moment tried hopping forward for a slash but Ashers powerful jaws crunched on his leg. Snow the hyperactive dog screeched and fell back. Meanwhile Sleet was still hanging on and was draining the energy from Asher.

Penny howled and jumped in to help. She chomped down hard onto sleet's tail and began shaking and tugging it trying to get him off of Asher's back.

Sleet hanged on and soon Asher collapsed. The leader decided it was time to interven. "Sleet! Snow! Off.", he said and grabbed Penny by the scruff of her neck. Snow and Sleet came galumphing (thats a word right?) back. Sleet nodded to him. "Good job, Rain you got her." Slobber mixed with blood dripped from Sleets lips.
